The day for game inventors: Register now for the Game Inventors Convention at the 2025 Spielwarenmesse!

At the end of January, the Spielwarenmesse attracts members of the games scene from all over the world to Nuremberg. Creative minds are already on the starting blocks for the Internationale Spieleerfindermesse – Game Inventors Convention. On Friday 31 January, this popular event for games designers takes place for the third time at the exhibition centre itself. Registration is open now.

Registration has started

Embedded in the major international networking event of the Spielwarenmesse (28 January to 1 February), the Game Inventors Convention will again be taking place on Level 1 of NCC Mitte, in the Brussels and Munich halls in the foyer. Between 9 am and 6 pm, ideas and prototypes will be presented and contacts made. Registration for one of the coveted games tables is open right now! The day ends with the popular GamingHour from 6 to 10 pm, to which all participants in the Game Inventors Convention – games designers, publishers, media representatives and content creators – are invited. The Alibaba games club, moreover, will be awarding its ‘DuAli’ games prize.

Positive feedback

This year, the Game Inventors Convention took place for the second time during the Spielwarenmesse. With 145 participants from 18 countries – including startups from Israel, Mexico and the USA – it was again a sell-out. Everyone who took part valued the excellent insight into the sector, the opportunity to expand their network and the encouraging discussions with experienced editors. “The fact that some 90% plan to be there again next year highlights the event’s relevance. We are looking forward to a large number of new games ideas,” concludes Christian Ulrich, Spokesperson of the Executive Board at Spielwarenmesse eG.
